Rapid Application Tourniquet System or R.A.T.S. is made from a solid vulcanized rubber core with a nylon sheath, combined with a unique locking mechanism that makes it a compact, lightweight and incredibly fast tourniquet to apply to self or others.
The design makes it possible to apply under stress and one handed if needed. Also works on dogs.

Shoot that's fast!
Rapid application indeed, took it straight from the package and applied it with no fuss and it closed off circulation immidiately, before I did the last wrap and cleat.
Super fast and intuitive.
High quality and no nonsens design.
The band and protective sheath feels extremely durable, same goes for the metal cleat.
Overall this is a very welcome piece in my first aid gear!
