Tungsten buffer weights are an elegant and economical solution to increase the weight of your buffer. Normal AR carbine buffer has 3 steel weights. As tungsten is denser and heavier than steel, replacing the steel weights with tungsten will increase the overall buffer weight and reduce the bolt velocity and felt recoil. 


By using your own OEM buffer - open it up, replace the weights and you have the option to tune it perfectly to your rifle without the need of buying a new buffer.
