They have four pockets: two at the hips that have reinforced edges (knife clips) and two smaller on the sides that can hold a folding saw. They can accomodate belts up to 50mm. Additional loops can be used for attaching other items on the outside. Knees are reinforced and have inside pockets for Helikon-Tex's knee pads
