The design of SICH tourniquet is quite simple, they looked at the two most known models available on the market at the time, combined the best features and made a rugged, almost indestructible tourniquet.

They achieved this by using heavy duty webbing, high strength aluminium alloy fittings and strong adhesive strap. 

- Two-slit metallic buckle that prevents weakening of the tourniquet even if the velcro strap isn't secured
- Marking tab can be written-on with a sharp object (like a bullet)
- Works in all weather conditions and extreme temperatures 
- Resistant to mechanical and chemical damage
- Can be applied with one hand.
- Can be used directly on the skin
- Comes in sealed packaging with instructions and certificates
