Rail is machined from aircraft grade Aluminium alloy EN AW 7075.
No need for drilling holes into bolt cover, no need for special tools. The rail clamps on the rear sights base by tightening up 2 screws.
Doesn't have to be removed for disassembly or cleaning of the rifle.
The rail is designed to allow the use of original iron sights while mounted.
Intended to be used with smaller optics like micro reddots or similar.
