M1 gas masks were produced and used in Yugoslavia and later in independent countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina
- M1 gas mask was issued to all military personnel and civilians from the late 1960s to late 1995 - it was used during the entire Balkan wars
- made out of light green rubber and uses a light OD metal frame for glass lenses, metal filter is the same OD color as the lens frame
- mask uses white fabric tape to help seal around the exhale and inhale ports
Unused surplus, mixed condition. Some kits maybe have deteriorated faster because of old age and questionable storage conditions.
The filter does not contain any asbestos but can leak other chemicals like active carbon so DO NOT USE THE FILTER
